Eating Out in Style

The Chicago Vegetarian Society's Dine Outs offer a great way to sample some of the diverse and delicious vegetarian cuisine available in the city and suburbs and to meet other vegetarians and those making the transition to vegetarianism. These events also provide an ideal opportunity for self-education through the exchange of information regarding topics of interest to vegetarians. Please join us at some of these events.  In order not to be disappointed , we encourage you to make reservations early.  Space is often limited and dine-outs frequently sell out quickly.

Appetizer, soup, 3 entrees to choose from, dessert, and hot or iced green tea.

$14.00 members/$17.00 non-members includes tax and gratuity

Reservation Policy

To make a reservation, call our hotline at 312-420-VEGI.  Leave your name and phone number, the name of the dine-out you wish to attend, and how many people plan on attending.  We will call you back to confirm your reservation.  If space is still available, you can then mail your payment by check or money order to our P.O. Box (P.O. Box 223, Highwood, IL 60040.)  If the dine-out is sold out, you will be put on a waiting list and will be called if there is a cancellation.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are calling in your reservation on a cell phone, be aware that sometimes the message is unintelligible due to a bad cell connection, and we may not be able to tell who called.  To be safe, call from a regular phone line.

If you must cancel, you will need to do so at least 48 hours prior to the dine-out, so that others on the waiting list can then attend.    

At this time, the credit card machine is not yet available to the new CVS board, so we will be unable to accept credit card reservations.
